Risk Disclosure

Dated October 23, 2026

Draft — pending legal review. The operating entity and the governing law are placeholders until the final version is published.

The short version: new tokens are risky, Customsales and Curvesales are riskier, and a wallet is generated for you automatically. This page says why.

1. Read this first

Rugless helps you find, buy and fund new tokens on Robinhood Chain. New tokens are among the riskiest assets that exist. You can lose all of the money you put in, quickly, and nobody is obliged to make you whole.

This page lists the main risks. It does not list all of them, and it is not advice. It goes together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Only use money you can afford to lose.

2. Market and token risk

  • Prices of new tokens can fall by 90% or more within minutes, and can go to zero.
  • Many tokens have no product, no team that stays, and no reason to hold value other than attention.
  • Liquidity can be thin or disappear. You may be unable to sell at the price you see, or at all.
  • A project's creators, early buyers and large holders can sell into you. Rugless cannot stop this.
  • Names, logos and descriptions are written by creators. A token can imitate another project or person, and a listing is not a check that it is who it says it is.
  • Rankings, charts, holder lists and reward pools describe past activity. They do not predict the future.

3. Customsale and Curvesale risk

In a sale (a Customsale or a Curvesale) you send ETH to a smart contract before the token exists, and you are promised a share of tokens later. Beyond the market risks above, understand that:

  • the sale may miss its goal, be cancelled, or never launch, and you can be refunded only in the cases the contract provides for;
  • your money is locked in the contract until it launches, refunds or the contract allows a claim, and you cannot sell your place;
  • the token can trade far below the sale price once it launches, and the sale price gives you no right to a minimum value;
  • the creator is solely responsible for the project. Rugless does not review, audit or endorse sales or tokens;
  • reward pools, such as the pool shared with top holders at market cap milestones, follow the contract rules. They are not promised income and can be worth nothing;
  • the economic parameters (caps, allocation and reward percentages) are fixed when a sale is published and nobody can change them. That protects you from changes, and it also means a mistake in them cannot be fixed.

5. Wallet risk

Login is handled by Privy. A wallet is generated for your account when you sign up. This comes with risks you should understand:

  • if your login account (X or Telegram) is taken over, an attacker can sign in as you and move your funds. Protect those accounts with strong security and two-factor authentication;
  • if you lose access to your login account, you may lose access to your wallet. Exporting your private key and storing it safely is your protection, and anyone who has that key controls the wallet;
  • if the systems involved in wallet generation are compromised, funds can be at risk. We work to prevent this, and we cannot promise it will never happen;
  • transfers on a blockchain are final. A transfer to a wrong address cannot be reversed by us or by anyone;
  • access to the Service, to your account and to the export feature can be interrupted, limited or ended at any time, so do not count on them being available when you need them.

You alone are responsible for your wallet. Export your private key, store it safely, keep your own copy, and move what you want to keep to a wallet you control. Do not use your Rugless wallet as long term storage. Rugless does not answer for any wallet or for any movement of assets in it, to the fullest extent the law allows. See the Terms of Use.

Never share your private key or a recovery code with anyone, including people who say they work for Rugless. We will never ask for it.

6. Technology risk

  • Smart contracts can contain bugs, even when audited. A bug can cause a total and permanent loss.
  • Robinhood Chain is operated by third parties and can have downtime, delays, congestion, reorganizations or stopped blocks. Transactions can fail or take longer than expected.
  • Prices, balances and charts shown by the Service can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Check the chain before you decide.
  • Rugless is still in a pre-launch phase. Some data, such as balances and market activity, can be simulated, and features can change or be removed. Do not treat simulated data as real.
  • Links, bots and impersonators are common. Check addresses and domains, and only trust links from rugless.dev that you reached yourself.

7. Centralization and emergency powers

To react quickly to fraud or a serious problem, Rugless holds emergency powers over sales. Through a multisignature wallet, and never through a single account, Rugless can force a sale to finalize, force its launch, or cancel it, outside the normal conditions. Rugless can also hide a sale or token from its listings.

These actions do not wait for a public timelock. That makes them useful in an emergency, and it also means more centralization than the rest of the system. Rugless still cannot change a sale's caps, allocation or reward percentages, and every emergency action emits an on-chain event that anyone can check. Upgrades to the shared sale contracts go through a multisignature owner and a public timelock.

By taking part in a sale you accept that these powers exist. An emergency action can change when or whether you receive tokens or a refund.

8. Social and conduct risk

Posts, profiles, rankings and followed accounts are written by other users. People can lie, coordinate to move a price, or promote tokens they hold. Do not buy because of a post or a ranking. Do your own research.

9. Your acknowledgement

By using Rugless, and in particular by contributing to a sale, you confirm that you have read this disclosure, that you understand the risks above, that you accept that you can lose everything you put in, and that you are acting on your own judgment and not on advice from Rugless.
